you spy Merlin on the slopes, you know the Mountains have
done their homework. This friendly sorcerer is everywhere.
He appears on the slopes in a billowing gown and pointy
hat, warning skiers to slow down for the safety of kids,
and you'll see him hanging around the children's
adventure park.

Biking
Whistler offers unsurpassed biking experiences for kids
of all ages from paved paths to alpine tours and
thrilling lift accessed mountain descents. Rent a bike by
the hour, day, or take a guided tour which includes a

Horseback Riding
Ride through lush valley or alpine meadows with your
family. We offer guided trail rides, horse drawn
covered wagon rides, sleigh rides, all kinds of horses

Roller Blading (In-Line Skating)
Skaters will enjoy the paved trail system that winds its
way throughout the Valley or the freestyle skate
park at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Skates and safety
equipment are available through many of Whistler's sport
stores. The paved trail system passes beside Wildwood
Lodge.
Movies
Take in a first run movie at Rainbow Theater with a built
in dolby sound system or pick up a video from 3 different

Museum
The Whistler Museum and Archives features interesting
exhibits on regional history, skiing and local flora
& fauna.
Swimming
There are 5 beautiful lakes in the Whistler area. You can
also go for an invigorating swim in the 6-lane pool at
Meadow Park Sports Centre, then relax in the hot tub, or
wading pool just for children.
Meadow Park Recreation
Centre
Kids love to play at Meadow Park's outdoor water park, a
perfect spot to cool off on a hot day. The centre has an
official size ice skating ring, with skates rentals,
swimming pool, squash courts, spa, badminton, volleyball
and basketball. Camp Summer Sensation, a day camp
for 6 - 12 year olds offers activities such as windsurfing,
canoeing, and in-line skating as well as arts &
crafts.
