"January 30, 2013 from North Vancouver Short 5 min walk to upper village and Wizard Chair, hot tub, parking included, friendly staff, good value, I would go back. After checking out in the morning, I became ill on the last day of my visit and didn't want to risk the drive home in the poor condition I was in at the time, so I returned to the Wildwood Lodge in the afternoon to see if I could extend my stay and get some rest. It turned out all the 1 bedroom units were booked. The staff were very kind to move one of the arriving guests to a larger unit, so that I could stay one more night in the same 1 bedroom unit we had, and at the same rate. I was very grateful for that, and after a good nights sleep I was in much better condition to return home safely with my son the following morning." "no complaints"
"February 23, 2012 from Warsaw, Poland We came here for powder snow. It was not there except 2 last days. We were frustrated first 2 days. Than we met with "Whistler guides" and went 2 days ski-touring to look for skiing on untouched snow. The two days, one with Chris another with Eric, have been very different but beautiful. Great snow, almost no other skiers, sun on the second day. A lot of knowledge about Canada, Whistler and other important things and places. The guys opened our minds and showed us where to go on our own. We have bought a book about all possible skiing places and enjoyed 2 and 3 diamonds slopes, mostly on Blackcomb glacier, for the rest of our stay. We have enjoyed a day on Catskiing. Very well organized, very nice people. Some of us spend a lot of time in snow-parks. They have told me that they are a lot better prepared than in Europe. We have also enjoyed a good french bread from Market Place, fantastic Sushi restaurant (up the stairs), and a very good Spagetti Factory Restaurant too. We had some problems with payments and cash machines. Not all of them accepted our credit and deposit cards. In general it was the best place we have ever skied. And believe me we have seen a lot of skiing places in Europe." "Poles skiing in Whistler"
